What is PVO?
PVO is the Parent Volunteer Organization of Axios We consider all families to be General Members of the PVO. We do not typically hold in-person meetings but have myriad ways to volunteer throughout the school year.
What is the mission of the PVO?
The mission of the PVO is to build community at Axios by fostering relationships and encouraging families, faculty, staff, and students through prayer and action.
What does the PVO do?
Lots! This year, some of the events and activities we are responsible for are Harvest Hangout (all-school fall festival), Lunch Duty (we provide volunteers so that a hot lunch option can be offered), Christmas Decorating, Quarterly Lower School socials, Weekly Prayer Team meetings, Faculty & Staff Appreciation Week (February), Special Speaker events, Middle & Upper School Parent Socials, the Adopt-A-Teacher program and more!
I want to help, but my schedule is busy during the day. Is there space for me?
Yes! We welcome your help during the school day as well as after school and in the evenings. Throughout the year different events and activities will occur and we sincerely hope to have you participate in a way that's best for your family's schedule.
